Ma's Clan is a family of Hillbillies that decided the country life was too boring for them, and no where near profitable enough. So they moved to New York City where they used their powers to rob banks, jewelry stores, etc. The leader of the group is of course, Ma, but she never goes along on the heists, instead she stays at home and monitors the entire thing through the miniature camera's and microphones she sewed into her kids clothes.

Her kids, Jim-Bob, Runt, Sis and Stinkbug do all the thieving, but they're not used to using their powers in combat situations so they often forget what powers they have during battle.

To help them with this problem, Ma recruited her sister Auntie Ant, and sent her out into the field with her kids.
