The Eternals are exactly what they say, the beings and creatures that have and will live for eternity. The first eternal was Warlock, the first "Witch" to go bad. He was later joined by Caché, she felt him a worthy companion considering he didn't get turned to stone when he looked at her. Caché's friend Amphibion joined them. For a few hundred years, they had to stay near the water, for Amphibion's sake. Then they met Virtuoso, he and Warlock together cast a spell on Amphibion that made it so he only had to be in the water sometimes.

After a couple hundred years of these four roaming around together Death Fog joined their ranks which made the group almost unstoppable, for it seemed that nothing could hurt him. Later the group added a new member which slowed them down again, for a little while, Gargoyle made it possible for them only to travel at night, for during the day, he turned to stone. Then they found the Time Stones, by keeping these stones on his body, Gargoyle was now able to walk around during the day.
