The Star Warriors were created by the billionaire, art collector Martin "Marty" Star. He created the group as a sort of private police force to protect his newly founded organization Star Industries. Having no trust of the Government Marty didn't want to have his Empire collapse because the Law Enforcement agencies didn't feel like showing up.
He hired a bunch of Super Powered people to act as his private Law Enforcement, and they derived the name the Star Warriors at a press conference when a reporter inquired as to what they're "job" was.
The original members of the Star Warriors were Doc Holiday, Mask, Polaris, & Wind.
They were later joined by Dr. Hoover, Ice Hot, Johnathan, Max & Metalika.
When they're not actively protecting Star Industries from attack, they're busy helping the community, training other Heroes, fighting crime around the world, and doing whatever it is they do when they're not "In Costume".
